IPAT COMPETITION

The IPAT competition program is not a competition between entries.  It is intended to be a judged rating system by points in which each entry is rated on a 100 point system using the published point distribution.  Also, it is hoped that the judges will make comments which might help the artist to see the areas of work needing improvement in order to attain a better rating in a later competition and/or become a better porcelain artist, which is the ultimate goal of this program.  The ribbons of bronze, silver, and gold simply denote that the piece of work received a rating sufficiently high to earn the ribbon.
